well i met sum 41 on october 5th 2001.me and my friend stayed over my dad's since he wuz closer, and we got there early we were the 3rd earlist. so me and my friend went walking around for a while to c the sum 41 equipment bus come. we were happy. but they weren't in it. like duh. then we met some girls and they hung out with us. we sat for hours. then people started coming and it wuz also hot outside so we went into the music store close to HOB. we went in and cooled off for a while and b4 we went in this guy on the radio said that sum 41 wuz going to look over the balcony right in front of us @ 6:00 but it was only 4:00 or so. we were all happy and stuff. so me and my friend were sitting down listening to music and we were like what if they came out early and we missed it. so we ran out of the store to find out that deryck whibley and steve jocz had come out and wuz signing autographs and pictures. me and my friend was sad and mad at the same time. well just then we saw cone and brownsound just walking around!!! we all ran to them and got pics and autographs. it wuz cool.i didn't get one thing signed by brownsound so the door to get into the backstage area wuz not locked so we saw brownsound and asked him to come back out and he did!! he is really nice. so this guy that worked there wuz on the phone with steve and told him to tell deryck and him to come out again. but they did not but we saw steve go into the tour bus backstage and that was cool.we went back to the line to the concert and there wuz alot of people. we stayed in line to find out that this guy that worked in HOB was looking for the earliest people. so it was 3 groups of girls. on group was not even early they just butted. but ne ways we got in the interviewing room that sum 41 wuz suppose to be in and it wuz going to be live on the radio and it wuz on the balcony. so me and my friend saw the whole of sum 41 walk in to the room and we were like OMG!!! they talked and went to break and they were signing posters to give to the vip people. then after the interview was done they were signing everything that we had for them to sign. i got bizzy d's autograph 4 times and the rest 3 times. i got alot of pics of deryck and i took a pic with brownsound and cone and some pics of steve. and plus when we went into the concert we got front row!!! i was happy but i had to get out of the crowd b4 sum 41 came out bcuz i would of died in there. so i got out and got my sum 41 stuff and watched the rest by the first row. it was a great day.
